We are in search of a seasoned Mobile Community Operations Manager to oversee our properties in the Chico/Redding, CA area. Our workplace fosters an environment where associates are encouraged to take initiative, promoting a culture rich in learning and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee daily operations, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and programs for effective community management.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulatory agencies and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Maintain a supportive atmosphere for residents while managing site staff and vendor interactions.
- Recruit, supervise, and develop team members, providing daily leadership and guidance.
- Identify and engage suitable contractors, outlining project scopes and securing necessary bids.
- Conduct property inspections to uphold curb appeal and identify maintenance needs.
- Manage maintenance programs, including supervision, inspections, and monitoring of work orders.
- Address resident inquiries and concerns, including property repairs and lease agreements.
- Prepare annual budgets, monthly variance reports, and process invoices efficiently.
- Utilize Yardi property management software for rent collection and deposit preparation.
- Foster a positive company culture and provide regular reports to the Regional Manager.
- Promptly report any property liability claims and employee-related claims in accordance with company policy.
- Approve payroll for all staff, including any applicable commissions and bonuses.
- Promote risk management initiatives to ensure employee safety.
- Experience with Yardi is preferred.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Experience with Affordable Housing - LIHTC (Tax Credit) and HUD programs is essential.
- A minimum of 2 years in a supervisory role is required.
- Strong understanding of general ledgers and budgeting processes.
- Thorough knowledge of federal fair housing laws and relevant local housing regulations.
- Proficient in English, both written and verbal.
- Ability to effectively utilize common Microsoft software applications.
- Exceptional customer service skills and the ability to empathize with residents and staff while enforcing community rules.
- Strong problem-solving, listening, and reasoning abilities.
