Job Title: Business Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Business Operations Manager to join our team at The City-County of Butte-Silver Bow. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our Water Utility Division.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and direct the work of administrative office staff, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
  • Manage monthly billing, collection, credit management, and accounting activities.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
  • Collaborate with division heads and other supervisory personnel to identify and assess office needs.
  • Prepare and submit reports to the Finance & Budget Director, including budget estimates and other regular and special reports.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
  • Considerable experience in maintaining and using databases and computer software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, supervisors, and the general public.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
