Overview

Emory Healthcare is seeking a skilled Hematology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our integrated academic healthcare system, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and contributing to our mission of advancing healthcare through innovation and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the evaluation and treatment of patients with malignant hematology conditions
• Conduct patient interviews and document patient histories, psychosocial histories, health status, and medical problems or potential problems
• Perform physical examinations and specialized diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures under the direction of a physician
• Assist physician in diagnosing medical problems, developing care plans, and prescribing treatment
• Order, schedule, and/or perform laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures

Requirements

• Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program
• Current licensure as an advanced practice nurse in the state of Georgia and certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
• BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required; ACLS may be required in some areas
• At least one year of direct experience in a high acuity clinical specialty
