Doyle Security Services is seeking a qualified individual for the role of Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Manager. This position involves establishing a 24/7/365 GSOC for a prominent media organization and overseeing a team of operators responsible for evaluating both domestic and international risks to the client's facilities, events, and operations. The role also includes providing duty of care support for journalists and business travelers, leading organization-wide crisis management efforts, and managing all access control and video surveillance systems.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree with a minimum of five (5) years of experience in managing a dynamic, high-pressure, multicultural GSOC environment across multiple locations. Proficiency in English is required; Spanish is a plus.
- Strong background in program management, process development, and governance, coupled with a solid foundation in security and intelligence analysis, and the capability to drive organizational change and innovation.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to balance self-motivation with sound judgment, collaboration, and effective communication skills with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Proven track record in planning and managing change in processes, policies, and technology.
- Comfortable with technology, able to navigate and supervise various systems, databases, and applications. Experience with C-Cure 9000 is essential; familiarity with visitor management systems and/or ServiceNow applications is advantageous.
- Exceptional oral and written communication skills, including the ability to brief senior client representatives and produce written security and intelligence reports.
- Extensive experience in personnel management, including conflict resolution and the ability to analyze data to create metrics that support ongoing program enhancement.
Responsibilities:
- Develop the strategic vision for the GSOC through the creation of processes, procedures, and policies, along with accountability frameworks and performance metrics to meet client KPIs and SLAs.
- Design and implement global governance structures to ensure consistent standards across operations while delegating authority and responsibility as appropriate.
- Establish a GSOC-led intelligence and crisis management program for the organization.
- Oversee daily personnel operations of the GSOC, acting as the primary contact for operational escalations and concerns.
- Maintain and enhance the training program for GSOC operators, promoting their professional growth.
- Ensure adequate staffing and coverage across shifts, implementing contingency plans to maintain service quality and operational standards.
- Effectively communicate and follow up on reported incidents in a timely manner, troubleshooting technology issues as needed.
- Participate in client meetings to report on contractual and operational KPIs and SLAs related to team performance and service delivery across three GSOC work streams: intelligence analysis, travel and crisis management, and access control.
- Be present on-site in the GSOC during business hours, with availability for after-hours, weekend, and holiday support for urgent matters.
