Security Supervisor with Fire Life Safety Expertise

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Supervisor with expertise in fire life safety to oversee security operations and ensure compliance with fire safety regulations and protocols.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular patrols to monitor premises and identify potential security risks and fire hazards.
- Maintain fire safety plans, policies, and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
- Coordinate fire drills and emergency evacuation procedures, ensuring security staff are prepared and informed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for fire department officials and regulatory agencies during inspections and emergencies.
- Conduct investigations into fire incidents and develop corrective actions to prevent reoccurrence.
- Familiarize yourself with campus fire panels.
- Maintain accurate records of security and fire safety activities, incidents, and personnel assignments.
- Supervise daily security team operations during the shift, ensuring efficient task completion.
- Perform routine security assessments to identify and address potential risks and vulnerabilities, crafting strategies for risk reduction.
- Monitor surveillance and alarm systems, swiftly responding to security breaches or incidents.
- Educate and train security personnel on protocols and emergency response plans.
- Investigate security incidents, accidents, and breaches, preparing comprehensive reports with improvement recommendations.
- Stay abreast of evolving security trends, technologies, and regulations, providing recommendations for system and procedural enhancements.
- Proven experience as a security supervisor or similar role.
- In-depth knowledge of security protocols, procedures, fire safety regulations, emergency action plans, and fire panels.
- Fire Life Safety Director certification.
