You will be responsible for ensuring that bankruptcy accounts, deceased accounts, and accounts requiring final notices are worked timely and in accordance with Medicare regulations. Additionally, you will understand the support role you provide to meet established goals assigned by Senior Leadership, such as Cash collected, A/R Days, Collection WIP, Billing WIP, Charity Percentage, and Bad Debt. This position has the opportunity to be a hybrid role, requiring training at our Watterson Towers office and occasional business travel to Kentucky or Indiana.
Key Responsibilities
Ensure overall compliance, performance, and reconciliation of out-sourced accounts
Work bankruptcy accounts, deceased accounts, and accounts requiring final notices in a timely manner
Understand the support role you provide to meet established goals
Collaborate with Senior Leadership to meet or exceed established goals
Qualifications
One year of experience in patient accounting, finance, or insurance
