Job Title: Data Center Cloud Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Cloud Engineer to join our team at Knowledge Management, Inc. This is a unique opportunity to work on a multi-year contract with a leading provider of innovative technology solutions.

Job Summary:

The Data Center Cloud Engineer will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining physical data center infrastructure, managing server and network equipment installation, configuration, and maintenance, and ensuring proper power distribution, cooling, and physical security measures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement hybrid cloud solutions that integrate on-premises infrastructure with Azure services
  • Manage data replication and synchronization between on-premises systems and cloud environments
  • Optimize workload distribution between local data center and cloud resources
  • Ensure seamless connectivity and security between on-premises and cloud environments

Requirements:

  • 3-5+ years of information technology experience, with a mix of data center and cloud expertise
  • Strong experience with Azure and cloud architectures including EntraID, Intune, and other Azure native services
  • Hands-on experience with data center hardware, including servers, networking equipment, and storage systems
  • Experience developing, configuring, and managing cloud-based systems supporting enterprise applications
  • Strong technical competency in SaaS, PaaS, DaaS, and IaaS
  • Familiarity with data center operations, including power management, cooling systems, and physical security
  • Problem-solving skills and attention to detail
