Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cloud Systems Engineer III to join our team at Zivaro Inc. This role will involve contributing to an integrated team environment with other systems, software, and specialty engineers to develop solutions that include a background in all aspects of the systems engineering life cycle.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Engineering: Design, implement, and manage cloud-based systems and infrastructure using AWS and Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • System Administration: Provide strong Linux system administration skills, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SELinux, Linux system administration, daemons, user management, storage management, and log diving techniques.
  • Network Engineering: Develop and implement network methodologies, including squid service for transit proxy configuration, and familiarity with nginx and reverse proxy configurations.
  • Containerization: Work with Docker, Virtualization, Kubernetes, and Containerization experience to manage and deploy containerized applications.
  • Security: Ensure the highest levels of security, availability, and performance of cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
  • Collaboration: Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain cloud-based systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
  • 10+ years of experience in AWS Cloud/System Engineering & Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with AWS - specifically EC2 and S3 services & RHEL.
  • Docker, Virtualization, Kubernetes, Containerization experience.
  • Ability to analyze high-level needs and define a structured and logical approach to refine the capability into an integrated set of requirements that lead to a fielded product.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required for all positions at Zivaro due to security clearance requirements for government/federal contracts held by Zivaro.
Preferred Qualifications
  • 10+ years of experience in AWS Cloud/System Engineering & Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Experience with Agile methodology for software development.
  • Active Top Secret/SCI required.
