Job Summary

LMI is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Platform Engineer to join our team. As a Cloud Platform Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and developing cloud architectures, ensuring the smooth operation of software functions across various programs and platforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Cloud Architecture Design and Development: Develop and maintain production environments, including k8s, Openshift, and VMWare PKS Essentials.
  • Software Functionality: Ensure all new software functions operate smoothly across various programs and platforms.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Meet with managers and government representatives to discuss software issues and brainstorm methods of solving existing problems.
  • Code Development and Maintenance: Write original code and update existing code, ensuring that all code meets program requirements.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Perform intensive testing of all new and existing programs to ensure they are free of errors and function as intended.
  • System Updates and Debugging: Update and debug existing systems to ensure a smooth user experience and a uniform look across a variety of platforms.
  • Cloud Instance Management: Keep up to date on native services and be ready to apply relevant innovations to our cloud instances.
Requirements
  • Microsoft Azure Experience: Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure.
  • Cloud Architecture Design: Demonstrated experience designing cloud architectures.
  • DevSecOps Infrastructure: Demonstrated experience building, maintaining, and troubleshooting robust DevSecOps infrastructure.
  • Containerization: Demonstrated experience with containerization.
  • Automated Test and Scan Tools: Demonstrated experience with automated test and scan tools.
  • Security Clearance: Active TS/SCI with polygraph required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Multi-Cloud Experience: Demonstrated experience with multiple cloud service providers.
  • IIS and Nginx: Demonstrated experience with IIS and Nginx.
  • Authentication and Authorization: Demonstrated experience with authentication and authorization systems and standards.
  • Web Security Standards: Demonstrated experience with web security standards.
