Job Overview

Kranze Technology Solutions, Inc. is a leading provider of defense industry solutions, specializing in Infrared Countermeasures (IRCM) systems, digital interoperability, and program support for the US Navy, US Marine Corps, and SOCOM.

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Shipping & Receiving Clerk. This role will be responsible for handling material shipments to and from our facility, ensuring the warehouse is kept functional, and performing various warehouse-related tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Organize and maintain a clean and efficient warehouse environment, including boxing, moving, stacking, and inventory management.
  • Create kits accurately and efficiently as needed for customers, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality products.
  • Collect and break down boxes, and perform cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy.
  • Lead Shipping and Receiving efforts, including managing receiving exceptions and ensuring seamless logistics operations.
  • Manage inventory control, including tracking and reporting on inventory levels, and making recommendations for improvement.
  • Enter inventory in our warehouse tracking system, ensuring accurate and up-to-date records.
  • Troubleshoot shipping and receiving issues, and implement solutions to prevent future problems.
  • Operate warehouse machinery, such as forklifts and scissor lifts, safely and efficiently.
  • Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and professional manner, providing excellent customer service.
  • Compare packing lists to company purchase orders, ensuring that products in each delivery match the packing list.
  • Inspect all incoming inventory, ensuring that items are not damaged or defective.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Lifting of boxes up to 50 lbs is required on a daily basis.
  • US citizenship is required, with the ability to obtain a security clearance.
  • Strong organization, communication, and customer service skills are essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment are necessary.
  • Military service is preferred, but not required.
  • Dependability and a strong work ethic are essential for success in this role.
  • Experience with working in Excel is a plus.
