Job Title: PMTEC Simulations Technician and Tech Support Planner

Valiant Integrated Services is seeking a highly skilled PMTEC Simulations Technician and Tech Support Planner to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and Coordinate Technical Requirements: Develop and implement technical plans to ensure seamless execution of PMTEC simulations.
  • Operate Simulation Systems: Install, configure, and update software as required to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Ensure System Integration: Coordinate hardware, software, programming, and database tasks to ensure seamless system integration.
  • Compliance and Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with policies and procedures for system design, programming, documentation, and testing.
  • System Performance Monitoring: Monitor system performance and take corrective actions as needed to ensure optimal system operation.
  • Documentation and Compliance: Review and ensure compliance with hardware and software system configuration management policies.
  • Communication and Interoperability: Ensure all communications between servers, local and remote sites, and clients are fully operational.
  • On-Site System Testing: Support on-site system testing to ensure interoperability solutions between US, Korean, Japan, and other coalition simulation models.
  • Problem Resolution: Coordinate the identification, resolution, and correction of hardware and software problems.
  • 24/7 Coverage: Provide 24-hour coverage during exercise periods, including working shifts and night shifts as required.
  • Customer-Contractor Relationships: Demonstrate a keen understanding of the importance of exceptional customer-contractor relationships.
  • Simulation Interoperability: Demonstrate a keen understanding of how simulations interoperate.
  • Equipment Accountability: Maintain 100% equipment accountability, including hardware, software, and system accessories.
  • Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel CONUS and OCONUS when required.
  • Technical Support: Assist in all other Technical Support Branch operations as required.
Requirements:
  • Information Systems and IT Knowledge: Demonstrate knowledge in Information Systems and Information Technology as described and required by the task.
  • Networking and Virtualization: Demonstrate a working knowledge of Networking, VMWARE, Red Hat Linux, and Windows.
  • Large-Scale Distributed Simulations: Understanding of large-scale distributed simulation exercises.
  • Security Clearance: Must maintain an active SECRET security clearance.
  • Certifications: Must be able to obtain and maintain IAT Level II and the appropriate computing environment certifications IAW DoDM such as Security+ CE.
