About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced EHS Manager to join our team at Skanska USA. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the integration of environmental health and safety services into our business practices and compliance with regulatory requirements on assigned projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective EHS programs and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor and evaluate EHS performance, identify hazards, and recommend controls.
  • Collaborate with project teams, including EHS staff, superintendents, project managers, and area/ regional EHS directors, to ensure EHS integration and compliance.
  • Provide training and guidance to employees on EHS policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Develop and maintain EHS documentation, including incident reports, safety audits, and training records.
Requirements
  • 5+ years of experience in a safety role, with a focus on environmental health and safety.
  • OSHA 30 certification and proficiency with computer software, including Microsoft Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with employees at all levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Safety Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
