- Work in a Fast-Paced Environment: Manage multiple calls and tasks simultaneously, prioritizing and resolving issues in a calm and composed manner.
- Collaborate with Team Members: Work closely with call center supervisors, healthcare providers, and other team members to resolve customer issues and improve patient outcomes.
- Stay Up-to-Date on Medical Knowledge: Maintain a thorough understanding of medical terminology, procedures, and protocols to provide accurate and informed responses to customer inquiries.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
- Experience in Healthcare or Customer Service: One year of experience in a healthcare setting or customer service role, preferably in a call center environment.
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers, and work collaboratively with team members.
- Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Ability to analyze and resolve customer issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Windows-based computer applications and ability to learn new software and systems quickly.
- Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in a Healthcare or Related Field: Preferred.
- Call Center Experience: Experience working in a call center environment, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Medical Terminology Knowledge: Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures.
- Bilingual or Multilingual: Ability to communicate in multiple languages, preferably including Spanish.
