Senior Administrative Support Specialist IV

Amentum is currently in search of a Senior Administrative Support Specialist IV to assist the PM Soldier Survivability (PM SSV) project office under the Program Executive Office (PEO) Soldier. This role presents an opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative team dedicated to delivering enhanced protection, individual equipment, and aviation life support capabilities that ensure combat superiority and facilitate mission success.

Note: This position is contingent upon award.

Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Administrative Support Specialist IV, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-level executive secretarial and administrative travel assistance, along with human resources support for the Project Manager and other team members as required.
  • Managing sensitive or confidential information with discretion.
  • Overseeing the Project Manager's calendar using MS Outlook.
  • Taking a leadership role in delivering administrative and general office support.
  • Drafting a variety of documents, including correspondence, forms, reports, statistical tables, and spreadsheets, utilizing advanced skills in word processing software.
  • Advising writers and researchers on style, syntax, and usage to enhance the overall quality and effectiveness of communications.
  • Training junior administrative support analysts.

Required Skills & Experience:

  • Proficiency in the MS Office Suite of Software.
  • Experience with the Defense Travel System.
  • Familiarity with MS SharePoint.

Required Clearance:

ACTIVE CLEARANCE LEVEL REQUIRED: Secret. Please note that U.S. Citizenship is necessary to obtain a Secret Government Clearance.

Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree in a related field with a minimum of five (5) years of relevant work experience is required, or a High School diploma/equivalent with at least ten (10) years of related work experience.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday, with flexibility around core hours. Travel may occur outside of normal core hours.
