We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as a Division Chief, Digital Transformation Strategist. This is a critical role that will play a key part in shaping the future of our organization.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate the value and applicability of new or improved technology, strategies, trends, or applications in digital engineering and model-based systems engineering training.
- Manage daily programmatic functions, interfaces with mission partners across the IC and DoD, reaches out to users to ensure proper program support.
- Oversee work effort of assigned FFRDC and SETA staff.
- Plan, organize, and lead teams to develop MBSE and DE training to meet NRO goals.
- Work across NRO Ds&Os to develop solutions to transform engineering teams.
- Plan, arrange, and manage knowledge management program to ensure efficient knowledge transfer and availability.
- Serve as subject matter expert for assigned projects.
- Assign tasks and provide overseeing work of project segment members; inspiring innovation and creative thinking of individual employees on technical work matters.
- Brief senior management through each project development cycle.
- Maintain interactions with contractor personnel to evaluate and correct development activities or provide technical and managerial consultations to team managers when problem areas arise.
- Develop, demonstrate, and promulgate training for innovative digital engineering methods, processes, and tools to advance the state of the practice of digital engineering within the enterprise.
- Baccalaureate or Graduate Degree: technical or scientific field (STEM) such as engineering, physics, physical science, chemistry, mathematics, statistics, operations research, engineering management, or computer science.
- Excellent interpersonal relationships to work with project/program teams in the implementation of NRO wide programs.
- Expert in oral and written communication to prepare and present reports, interpret policies and guidelines, provide advice and guidance to customers, and represent the organization in interactions with other organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, multiple tasks, and work requirements by continuously analyzing available resources against ongoing work.
- Proven critical thinking skills and reasoning skills as demonstrated by experience in preparing written products with emphasis on clear organization, and concise, and logical presentation to include an assessment or recommendation supported by data or research.
- Familiarity with systems engineering principles and architecture.
- Knowledge of DoD and Intelligence Community (IC) organizations, missions, relevant policies, and processes.
- Program Management or technical management expertise is highly desirable.
- Experience with model-based systems engineering or digital engineering approaches.
