Durham, North Carolina, United States Fidelity TalentSource LLC Full time

Client Onboarding Specialist

Fidelity TalentSource serves as your gateway to uncovering your next temporary opportunity within Fidelity Investments. We are in search of exceptional customer service experts to join our Onboarding Team. In this role, you will act as the primary liaison for both advisors and our donors throughout the account initiation process.

Key Qualifications and Skills:
  • Preferred Bachelor's degree.
  • 2-3 years of experience in Financial Services or Operations is preferred.
  • Demonstrated urgency and the ability to escalate issues when necessary.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
  • Strong critical thinking abilities with a commitment to follow-through.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, alongside strong organizational and time management skills.
  • A collaborative mindset with the ability to influence without direct authority.
  • Willingness to work overtime as needed, particularly during peak seasons.
Role Purpose:

Your mission is to work closely with donors and advisors, including those involved in specialized programs. You will handle daily communications, scrutinize incoming documentation for accuracy, establish non-advisor managed accounts, and create tasks for further processing of advisor managed accounts. This position demands an individual with outstanding customer service skills, a solid understanding of service operations, and the capability to prioritize effectively.

Your main responsibility is to deliver exceptional, personalized service to both specialized and general advisors. The Client Onboarding Specialist will offer guidance, education, and ensure that all advisor needs are met with excellence.

You will interact with advisors through both written and verbal communication techniques to comprehend the details of their requests, gather pertinent information, and identify solutions as needed. This role transcends mere inquiry handling and transaction processing; our advisors play a crucial role in supporting donors who generously contribute to nonprofit organizations to fulfill their philanthropic aspirations.

Impact on the Organization:

The Fidelity Charitable Gift Fund is a public charity that operates the largest national donor-advised fund program. Since its inception, it has introduced countless donors to the advantages and increased charitable impact of utilizing a donor-advised fund to achieve their philanthropic objectives. The organization is overseen by an independent Board of Trustees, which has engaged Fidelity Investments as the service provider for the charity. Fidelity Investments supplies all personnel and supports all functions, including Program Development, Marketing, Service Delivery, Relationship Management, Finance, Technology, Risk and Compliance, and Fundraising.

Dynamic Working Environment:

Our objective is to enable most employees to work flexibly, balancing personal and business needs through a hybrid working model. Most associates will have a blended schedule that requires them to work onsite at a Fidelity location for a designated week every four weeks. These requirements may be subject to change.

Company Overview:

Fidelity TalentSource is the internal temporary staffing provider for Fidelity Investments, one of the largest and most diversified global financial services firms. We embrace individuals from diverse backgrounds, including technology and customer service, to fill roles across Fidelity's various locations. If you are interested in experiencing Fidelity's supportive and collaborative culture while enhancing your skill set and expanding your professional network, consider a position with Fidelity TalentSource.

We are committed to fostering a diverse workforce through an enduring culture of inclusion and belonging. Fidelity TalentSource will accommodate applicants with disabilities who require adjustments to participate in the application or interview process.
