TRG is in search of a seasoned Lead Business Systems Analyst to offer Program Support to the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).

The Military-Civilian Transition Office (MCTO) necessitates comprehensive research, analytical assessments, product development, documentation drafting, strategic recommendations, coordination, and analytic support services for Service members preparing for their future endeavors—whether that involves pursuing further vocational training or higher education, securing employment in the public or private sectors, or launching their own enterprises; as well as Reserve Component (RC) members and their families navigating pre- and post-activation, mobilization, or deployment. MCTO develops cohesive, modular, outcome-oriented training, events, and courses designed to enhance and standardize the opportunities, services, and training available to support transitioning Service members, members of the National Guard and Reserve, their families, and communities globally.

This role currently offers a hybrid work environment. Responsibilities may be fulfilled at the customer facility, at the TRG headquarters, or remotely.

Security Clearance: Must meet adjudication guidelines to maintain a critical non-sensitive position.

Travel: Limited to moderate travel within the continental United States.

Core hours for the DC location are 8:00 am - 4:30 pm EST.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate existing system scope for TAP defense business systems and provide actionable recommendations to the government lead for approval, ensuring the system effectively gathers information on transition assistance activities for over 200,000 service members annually.
  • Collaborate closely with interagency Information Systems Analysts and the Services.
  • Analyze TAP business processes to ensure the system captures necessary data and possesses the required user interface and functionality, while recommending efficiencies to the government lead.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Required: Bachelor's Degree and/or Master's degree.
  • Required: A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in reviewing and analyzing business processes.
  • Preferred: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in a related field associated with Information Systems, analytics, and business systems.
  • Preferred: Military Veterans residing locally.
  • Preferred: Previous experience within the Military to Civilian Transition Office (MCTO).
  • Experience in preparing systems for government certification and developing professional presentations, reports, user guides, and memos that outline changes in IT Business Systems, user interface, and functionality.
  • Experience in conducting compatibility tests on hardware and software, supervising contractors, and certifying their work, along with providing technology training.
