Job Summary:

Sonic Healthcare USA is seeking an experienced Analytical Chemistry Supervisor to join our team at Sonic Reference Laboratory, Inc. As a key member of our laboratory operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality of testing and services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of laboratory personnel, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
  • Develop and implement quality assurance and quality control policies and procedures to ensure accurate and reliable test results.
  • Coordinate vendor activities and manage laboratory supplies and equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of laboratory activities, including test results, quality control data, and personnel training.
  • Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to the development of new methods and procedures.
  • Ensure a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all relevant regulations and company policies.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Medical Technology or a related field.
  • At least 6 years of experience in a laboratory setting, with a minimum of 4 years in toxicology.
  • 2 years of experience in a leadership or administrative role.
  • Certification as a Medical Technologist, Clinical Laboratory Scientist, or Molecular Biologist is preferred.

Working Conditions:

This position requires working in a laboratory environment with occasional exposure to biological and chemical hazards. All necessary safety equipment and personal protective equipment will be provided.
