Position Overview

Atlas Marine is looking for an experienced Logistics Terminal Supervisor to manage our drayage operations. This pivotal role involves upholding high operational standards and ensuring the smooth functioning of terminal activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Oversight: Direct daily terminal activities, including container management and storage solutions.
  • Team Management: Lead and develop a team, overseeing training, scheduling, and performance assessments.
  • Driver Liaison: Act as the primary contact for drivers, coordinating schedules and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
  • Reporting: Compile and present terminal performance reports to upper management.
  • Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all operations meet industry regulations and safety standards.
  • Client Engagement: Foster and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing any issues promptly.
  • Strategic Development: Participate in strategic planning for operational improvements and long-term goals.
Qualifications
  • Experience: At least 5 years in a Terminal Manager role with a focus on container operations.
  • Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of logistics, drayage, and container management practices.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated ability to inspire and lead a team effectively.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving skills, especially in high-pressure situations.
  • Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with relevant terminal operation technologies.
  • Education: A bachelor's degree in a related field is preferred.
