Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Legal Secretary to join our team at GPAC. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation, as well as excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and proofread legal documents, including briefs, motions, and contracts.
  • Manage case files and maintain organized electronic and physical filing systems.
  • Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings with clients and court personnel.
  • Conduct legal research and gather relevant information for cases.
  • Draft correspondence and communicate effectively with clients and stakeholders.
  • Assist in billing and invoicing processes, ensuring accuracy and timely submissions.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information and adhere to legal ethical standards.
  • Utilize legal management software and tools for case tracking and documentation.
  • Stay updated on legal procedures, terminology, and compliance regulations.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a legal secretary or in a similar role preferred.
  • Strong understanding of legal terminology and documentation.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and legal management software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism.
