As a Regulatory Compliance Trainee, you will work closely with the Regulatory Compliance Manager to assist in various tasks within the Regulatory department. This role involves collaboration with teams across Operations, Quality, and Research & Development. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining and improving our systems and processes by updating, revising, and documenting essential information from various sources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Upload and manage documents in customer portals.
  • Respond to document requests from clients.
  • Handle data management within Tropos, Product Vision, and Digital Kosher systems.
  • Support the initiation, reactivation, and deactivation of new items.
  • Start customer notification processes and organize supplier documentation.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to address issues related to labeling and operational instructions.
Requirements
  • Preferred Associate's degree in food science or a related discipline.
  • At least one year of experience in food science or related systems.
Computer Skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, and Word).
Language and Other Skills
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret technical documents effectively.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
Reasoning Ability
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills in various situations.
  • Capability to interpret a range of instructions.
Mathematical Skills
  • Competence in basic arithmetic and calculations.
  • Ability to work with units of measure and percentages.
Physical Demands

In this role, you will be required to meet certain physical demands, including standing, walking, and occasionally lifting items weighing up to 50 pounds. Visual capabilities must include close and distance vision, color perception, and focus adjustment.
