Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Solutions Manager to join our dynamic and growing team in Suwanee, GA. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the construction equipment industry, a passion for solving customer problems, and the ability to understand and match end-user equipment needs based on their specific operations.
Key Responsibilities- Partner with sales teams and dealers to identify and pursue opportunities from lead generation to deal closure. Provide demo support and technical assistance as needed during the sales process.
- Voice of Customer (VOC) and Voice of Dealer (VOD) Collection: Gather insights from customers and dealers to understand their needs, pain points, and preferences. Utilize feedback to drive product improvements and enhancements.
- Define and maintain a strategic product roadmap aligned with market demands and company objectives. Prioritize features and enhancements based on customer feedback, market trends, and business goals.
- Develop and deliver comprehensive product training programs to dealer sales professionals. Ensure dealers have a deep understanding of product features, benefits, and competitive advantages.
- Monitor product performance, sales metrics, and market share. Identify areas for portfolio optimization and growth.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
- Proven experience (at least 5 years) in product management or related field within the heavy construction machinery industry with an OEM preferred. Experience with mining operations or similar and with customers with large machinery fleets preferred.
- Strong understanding of articulated dump trucks (ADT) and extra-large frame construction equipment required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
- Prior operator experience with heavy construction equipment.
- Ability to travel up to 25%.
