Job Summary

New Hope Manor is seeking a skilled and compassionate LVN/LPN to join our healthcare team in a part-time evening shift position. As a Nursing Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care to our residents and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and coordinate the total nursing activities during each shift
  • Provide direct care to residents, including administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
  • Conduct regular rounds with physicians to ensure resident needs are met
  • Transcribe physician orders and communicate with physicians as needed
  • Order medications from the pharmacy and ensure accurate, daily charting
  • Supervise and document serving of prescribed diets and fluid intakes
  • Preparation and follow-up of Accident and Incident Reports
  • Ensure compliance with facility policies and procedures, as well as state and federal regulations
Requirements
  • Graduate of a state-approved school of vocational or professional nursing
  • Current state license as a vocational or registered nurse
  • Ability to work well with others and overlook personal preferences where the good of all concerned
  • Use of initiative and good judgment
  • Awareness of the needs and desires of others
  • Ability to work well with the elderly and their special needs
