Responsibilities
  • Accurately document patient information, care rendered, and provider orders.
  • Refill medications according to clinic protocols.
  • Prepare patients for provider exams, take vital signs, and document results.
  • Follow clinic protocols and directions from nursing team leaders or supervisors.
  • Perform diagnostic testing, including EKGs, audiograms, and visual screenings.
  • Monitor medical and office supplies, ordering as needed.
  • Review provider refill requests and assist with daily medication refills.
  • Review EPIC triage call-in baskets for callbacks.
  • Clean patient rooms, handle dirty laundry, and restock linens.
  • Assist providers with sigmoidoscopy exams and cardiac stress testing.
  • Maintain equipment, including autoclaves and sterilizers.
  • Adhere to company policies, including OSHA, HIPAA, and Code of Conduct.
Qualifications
  • LVN: Current licensure as a Licensed Vocational Nurse in Texas and AHA-approved Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Staff Medical Assistant: High school diploma or equivalent, medical assistant experience, or completion of a medical assistant program.
Work Schedule

32 hours per week, Monday and Thursday 1:00pm-5:00pm, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday 8:00am-5:00pm.
