Role Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively seeks opportunities to enhance assigned duties.
  • Maintains collaborative relationships with clinical teams to improve patient interactions.
  • Ensures consistent coverage in designated areas to facilitate patient services.
  • Adheres to productivity benchmarks set by leadership.
  • Upholds attendance and punctuality standards, demonstrating flexibility as needed.

Insurance Verification:

  • Engages with insurance providers to confirm eligibility and benefits.
  • Verifies medical necessity in line with regulatory standards.
  • Secures pre-authorizations and manages documentation accurately.

Patient Registration:

  • Registers patients for various services, ensuring accuracy in demographic data.
  • Conducts compliance reviews for Medicare accounts.
  • Ensures proper identification and documentation for regulatory compliance.

Financial Management:

  • Prepares cost estimates to optimize upfront collections.
  • Advises patients on financial responsibilities and payment options.
  • Coordinates with financial counseling services as necessary.

Qualifications:

  • Preferred: One year of relevant healthcare experience.
  • Preferred: Experience in collections and customer service.
  • Preferred: Associate's degree.
