Job Description

MAGNIFY has ANOTHER NEW opportunity for a Staff Accountant to join one of our top clients' team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional seeking to take the next step in their career, or that recent graduate seeking to get their foot in the door of an accounting department within a well-known organization.

Key duties will include financial reporting, profitability analysis, and general ledger accounting, resolving discrepancies, participation in audits.

Schedule: Mon-Fri 8am to 5pm

Responsibilities/Duties:

  • Collect, analyze, and summarize account information to prepare monthly financial statements, records, and reports.
  • Responsible for managing the general ledger.
  • Fixed assets processing and reporting to provide integral intelligence for accurate financial records.
  • Research and reconcile all account discrepancies.
  • Audit and verify key accounting and financial documents.
  • Perform financial and profitability analysis on an as-needed basis.
  • Create, analyze, and make necessary adjustments to cash flow statements.
  • Document key financial transactions.
  • Comply with state, federal, and local financial laws and requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Accounting Degree required.
  • 1-3 years of experience within the Accounting field.
  • Experience with ERP Accounting systems.
  • Ability to remain up to date on current accounting principles.
