Job Summary

The Environmental Services Field Technician will perform operational functions related to emergency response, hazardous and non-hazardous spill clean-up, and Hazmat Decon work. This role requires the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform daily tasks, including confined space entry, equipment operation, and spill clean-up.
  • Respond to customer emergencies and spills during normal business hours and after hours.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip Department of Transportation inspections.
  • Maintain vehicle logs and perform general housekeeping duties.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to use heavy and light equipment, such as forklifts and pallet-jacks.
  • Skilled in the use of hand and shop tools, and instruments.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, stay focused, and handle multiple responsibilities.
  • Valid driver's license may be required for some positions.
  • Current 40-hour HAZWOPER training.
