Position Overview: The Facilities Operations Leader is tasked with overseeing the overall functionality and operational outcomes of the Facilities Department at one of Keurig Dr Pepper's manufacturing locations. This role provides strategic direction to the site Facilities team, which includes direct reports such as Facilities supervisors, technicians, clerks, and coordinators.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead initiatives to enhance asset utilization, operational uptime, and production efficiency by applying established Professional Maintenance and reliability enhancement methodologies.
  • Ensure responsive and proactive maintenance support to all operational partners through effective work management processes.
  • Manage the department budget, focusing on the professional and technical growth of team members while achieving key maintenance performance indicators.
  • Identify and implement strategies to minimize utility consumption and promote environmental sustainability.

Team Development:

Foster a culture of accountability and ownership within the Facilities Department. Utilize Practical Problem-Solving techniques to identify root causes of operational failures and drive the preventive maintenance program to shift from reactive to proactive repairs.

Performance Management:

Define and execute departmental objectives that align with Total Productive Manufacturing (TPM) goals, including the development and implementation of strategies, processes, and programs. Measure, report, and hold the team accountable for performance outcomes.

Continuous Improvement:

Oversee the professional development of team members, motivating and coaching a diverse, high-performing team to achieve established objectives and enhance organizational capabilities. Champion and evaluate improvement initiatives aimed at reducing equipment downtime, enhancing equipment availability, and improving overall equipment effectiveness (OEE) through the establishment of a predictive maintenance program.

Communication and Compliance:

Effectively communicate changes within the site and broader network, encouraging questions and promoting collaborative problem-solving. Manage stockroom operations that supply essential repair parts for critical equipment and necessary consumables.

Budget Management:

Maintain the annual maintenance budget and ensure compliance with food safety, quality, and regulatory standards. Report any issues to relevant personnel with the authority to initiate corrective actions.

Additional Duties:

Perform other responsibilities as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures, ensuring team compliance with regulatory standards.
