Key Responsibilities- Lab Operations Management: Coordinate day-to-day activities and services of the nursing skills lab, including scheduling, lab setup, supervision of student use of laboratory supplies and equipment, inventory management, and maintenance of lab equipment and supplies.
- Faculty Support: Provide continuous and ongoing feedback to faculty and staff regarding laboratory use and inventory of laboratory materials, ensuring that our instructors have the resources they need to deliver high-quality education.
- Student Support: Assist students in the skills labs, providing guidance and support as needed to ensure a positive and productive learning experience.
- Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all lab equipment is properly maintained, repaired, and replaced as needed, ensuring that our students have access to the latest technology and tools.
- Safety and Compliance: Ensure that all lab safety and hazardous material handling procedures are followed, and that our facilities meet all relevant local and state safety standards.
- Supply Management: Prepare and follow up on requisitions for lab supplies and equipment, ensuring that our inventory is up-to-date and that we have the resources we need to support our students.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and current records, including inventory of supplies and equipment, and provide regular reports to supervisors as needed.
- Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of prior experience as a healthcare provider with direct patient contact, such as Medical Assistant, Emergency Medical Technician, Patient Care Technologist, Certified Nurses Aide, Licensed Vocational/Practical Nurse, or Medical Corpsman.
- Knowledge: Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology and experience with the use of medical instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Education: High School degree required.
