Are you a driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual looking for a challenging and rewarding career in insurance sales? Virginia Farm Bureau is seeking an Insurance Sales Agent to join our team in the Tazewell County Farm Bureau Branch Office located in Tazewell, VA.

We offer a dynamic and supportive work environment, with a focus on building strong relationships with our customers and community members. As an Insurance Sales Agent, you will have the opportunity to work independently, with a base salary, commissions on new sales, and numerous bonuses.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers and community members
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Provide excellent customer service and support
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and product knowledge

Requirements:

  • Property & Casualty license and Life, Health & Annuities license, or ability to obtain these with Virginia Farm Bureau providing and paying for licensing training materials/class
  • Strong communication skills, both oral and written
  • Good time management skills and the ability to work independently
  • Prior sales experience (any industry) helpful but not required
