Key Responsibilities- Lead and manage a team of network engineers to design, implement, and maintain the City's network infrastructure.
- Develop and implement network architecture roadmaps to ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Manage operational and capital budgets to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of network services.
- Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and partners to ensure optimal service delivery.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to ensure the City's network infrastructure remains competitive.
- Seven to nine years of experience in data center operations or network design and administration, including prior supervisory experience.
- Previous experience managing a logically complex network environment of a large physical scale.
- Experience managing a large user base of 5,000+ employees.
- Experience with design and development of technology architecture roadmaps and maintaining existing roadmaps.
- Experience and proven track record of managing operational and capital budgets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct a team of technical professionals.
- Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
