Position Overview

This role is a full-time, permanent clinical position within Mid Tennessee Bone and Joint Clinic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding customer service by welcoming patients and fostering a warm atmosphere.
  • Gather patient medical history in electronic health records (EHR), record vital signs, document medication dosages and frequencies, note patient allergies, and assist with examinations.
  • Ensure the confidentiality and accuracy of patient information in both electronic and manual systems, adhering to established protocols, regulations, and policies.
  • Support medical procedures such as injections as instructed by the healthcare provider.
  • Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of examination rooms between patient visits.
  • Perform basic tasks including suture removal and bandage application.
  • Measure and fit patients with durable medical equipment (DMEs).
  • Provide clear instructions and guidance to patients regarding diagnostic tests, procedures, and treatments.
  • Educate patients and review home exercise programs.
Qualifications
  • Ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with NextGen or electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
  • Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) credential.
  • Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) certification.
