Average target compensation $100k plus, with minimum commission guarantee
Key Responsibilities:- Prospect and sell primary and ancillary communications solutions to small and medium-sized businesses within a specified territory.
- Develop and implement a Territory Plan to expand the customer base within the assigned territory.
- Generate sales leads through various prospecting tactics and work every lead from initial contact to sale.
- Place orders through order management software and ensure accurate and timely submission of sales orders, contracts, and billing forms.
- Maintain accurate records of sales and prospecting activities, including sales calls, presentations, and follow-up activities.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
- Knowledge of communications technologies and services, with an emphasis on telephone and Internet fundamentals.
- Valid driver's license with a satisfactory driving record.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Outside sales experience in a high-transaction, short-closing cycle model.
- Business-to-business sales experience.
- Proven sales history of meeting or exceeding targets.
