Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Medical Care Coordinator to join our team at EngageMED Inc. As a Medical Care Coordinator, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Patient Check-in/Check-out: Welcome patients upon arrival and ensure a seamless check-out process.
  • Clinical Support: Provide general patient care by following established standards and procedures.
  • Vital Sign Collection: Obtain and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiration, height, weight, drug allergies, and current medications and presenting problems.
  • Medication Administration: Administer ordered medications and/or vaccines via oral, injection, topically, rectal, ophthalmic, and/or inhalant administration.
  • Scheduling: Schedule patients for diagnostic testing and follow up to ensure completion of testing.
  • Test Results Communication: Communicate with patients regarding test results and plan of care by phone or mail as directed by physician.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred.
  • Experience: 1 year Medical Assistant experience required.
  • Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) or Advanced Care Life Support (ACLS) required.

Estimated Salary: $45,000 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
