Premier Pharmacy Care is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Records Coordinator to manage electronic faxes, maintain accurate hospice lists, and assist with patient admission and discharge processes.

Responsibilities:
  • We are looking for someone who can monitor and distribute incoming electronic faxes in a timely manner and take appropriate action.
  • The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining up-to-date hospice lists, including patient information and status updates.
  • As a Medical Records Coordinator, you will assist with the admission and discharge processes for patients, ensuring all necessary documentation is complete and accurate.
  • You will collaborate with healthcare providers and other team members to ensure seamless coordination of patient care.
  • Maintaining confidentiality and adhering to relevant privacy regulations and guidelines is essential for this role.

Requirements:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office is necessary for this role.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, excellent communication and interpersonal skills are all essential for success in this position.
  • The ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment is crucial.
  • Knowledge of healthcare privacy regulations and guidelines, such as HIPAA, is also required.

What We Offer:

An estimated salary of $45,000 - $55,000 per year, commensurate with experience, plus benefits. The work schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM, with one Saturday a month.
