Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our Dermatology team in Garden City. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to promote wellness and optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and evaluate treatment effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with attending physicians, consulting physicians, and other disciplines to identify, develop, and implement appropriate plans of care.
  • Prescribe medications, medical equipment, devices, physical and occupational therapy, and home health services as needed.
  • Participate in the development and monitoring of patient outcomes, using evidence-based healthcare literature to inform practice changes.
  • Work collaboratively with nursing and other disciplines to develop and implement clinical studies within the area of expertise.
  • Assist in the preparation, implementation, and evaluation of research protocols as applicable.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
  • Current NYS Registered Nurse License.
  • Current NYS Nurse Practitioner License.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner Certification.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
