We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner to join our OB/GYN team at Northwell Health. Responsibilities- Conduct thorough patient assessments, develop and implement individualized care plans, and provide evidence-based treatment to patients with a range of OB/GYN needs.
- Collaborate with our OB/GYN physicians, residents, and nursing staff to ensure seamless patient care and optimal outcomes.
- Perform routine gynecological exams, provide prenatal care, and manage obstetric and gynecological conditions.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, prescribe medications, and document patient care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members to ensure informed decision-making and patient satisfaction.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, quality assurance activities, and continuing education programs to stay current with best practices and advancements in OB/GYN care.
- Master's degree in a Nurse Practitioner program and national certification in OB/GYN required.
- Current license to practice as a Nurse Practitioner in New York State and current license to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse in New York State required.
- Collaborative practice agreement with designated protocols filed with NYS Department of Education or collaborative relationship attestation as per the Nurse Practitioner Modernization Act 2015 required.
- Current BLS certification required.
Northwell Health offers a competitive salary range of $100,000-$180,000 per year, a comprehensive benefits package, and opportunities for professional growth and development in a dynamic and supportive work environment.
