We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nurse Practitioner to join our Dermatology team at NYU Langone Hospital-Long Island. Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive patient care, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of skin conditions.
- Work collaboratively with our dermatology team to develop and implement treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough health histories, physical examinations, and psychosocial assessments of patients.
- Order and interpret laboratory and diagnostic studies as needed.
- Prescribe medications and treatments as authorized by New York State law.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of our clinical programs.
- Master's degree from an accredited Nurse Practitioner program.
- Current NYS Registered Nurse License and NYS Nurse Practitioner License.
- Current Nurse Practitioner Certification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Basic computer skills.
- Current Basic Life Support Certification (BLS).
- Relevant experience in dermatology or a related field.
