Pediatric Care Coordinator

About the Role: We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant II to join our team at OU Health. In this role, you will work closely with physicians and advanced practice providers to provide direct patient care, adhere to national patient safety goals, and contribute to the development of the plan of care.
Responsibilities:
- Assists with procedures, maintains sterile field and specimen labeling when necessary, and gathers and documents information about patient condition.
- Performs cleaning, sterilization and/or high-level disinfection of scopes, probe, instruments and equipment according to manufacturer instructions for use.
- Transmits prescription refills as directed and arranges for hospital admissions and patient care services.
About the Position: To be considered for this role, you should have a High School Diploma or GED, 3-5 years of experience in Patient Care as a Medical Assistant or similar patient care role, and one of the following certifications: Certified Medical Assistant - American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA), Registered Medical Assistant - American Allied Health, or National Certified Medical Assistant - National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT).
