We are seeking an experienced Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to join our Plastic Surgery Clinic team at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. As a key member of our team, you will provide exceptional patient care and education, triage patient inquiries, and support the clinic's operations.
Responsibilities- Deliver high-quality patient care and education, ensuring patients and their families understand their treatment plans and options.
- Triage patient phone inquiries and respond to their concerns in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the clinic's operations, including scheduling appointments, tests, and procedures, and preparing equipment for medical procedures.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures.
- Graduate of an approved/accredited nursing program.
- Licensure as a Registered Nurse by the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
- One year of clinical nursing experience, preferably in a plastic surgery setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through a course accredited by the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
