Key Responsibilities:- Welcome patients by greeting them and answering or referring inquiries.
- Prepare patients for healthcare visits by directing and/or accompanying them to the examining room.
- Verify patient information by interviewing the patient and reviewing medical history.
- Support patient care delivery by helping healthcare providers during examinations and preparing laboratory specimens.
- Educate patients by providing medication and diet information and instructions.
- Complete records by recording patient examination, treatment, and test results.
- Generate revenues by recording billing information and completing insurance forms.
- Keep supplies ready by inventorying stock and placing orders.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by following standards and procedures.
- CMA, RMA, or CNA certification required.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- 2 or more years of clinical experience in a plastic surgery or dermatology office preferred.
- Ability to multitask and perform well under pressure.
- Nextech EMR experience preferred.
