Car Sales Consultant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and self-driven Automotive Sales Consultant to join our team at Allen Turner Chevrolet. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with customers, providing exceptional customer service, and meeting sales targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Nurture and Develop Customer Relationships: Build trust and rapport with customers to establish long-term relationships and increase sales.
- Exhibit Consultative Selling Skills: Assist customers in selecting a vehicle by asking questions and listening carefully to their responses.
- Develop Product and Sales Acumen: Continuously develop knowledge of our products and sales strategies to become a vehicle authority.
- Perform Vehicle Demonstrations: Conduct high-quality, professional demonstrations of new and used vehicles.
- Follow-up with Customers: Ensure successful referral business by following up with customers after sales.
- Overcome Objections: Learn to overcome objections and thrive in sales situations.
- Reporting and Communication: Report directly to the Sales Manager regarding objectives, planned activities, reviews, and analyses.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years of automotive sales experience preferred.
- Flexibility: Ability to work flexible hours and weekends.
- Self-Motivation: Highly self-motivated and driven to meet sales targets.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
- Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Professional Appearance: Professional, well-groomed personal appearance.
- Clean Driving Record: Clean driving record and valid driver's license.
- Background Check: Willingness to submit to a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
