Salary: $115,960 - $185,640 per year

Job Description:

We're seeking a skilled Veterinarian Medical Leader to join our team. As a key member of our hospital staff, you'll provide exceptional patient care, lead by example, and contribute to the growth of our productive practice. Your expertise will help us deliver high-quality standards of care while focusing on employee retention and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide physical examinations, diagnose and treat diseases, and provide preventive care according to patient signalment, lifestyle, and environment.Utilize a problem-based approach to develop complete problem lists, differential diagnoses, diagnostic plans, and treatments based on test results.Document patient observations, findings, treatments, and client interactions in medical records.Perform routine and complex surgeries, including spays/neuters, abdominal exploratory, and mass removals.Develop treatment plans for patients undergoing day hospitalization and communicate effectively with referral hospitals.Disseminate knowledge throughout staff to improve care and communication.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you'll need:

A Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree or equivalent from an AVMA-accredited veterinary school.Active licensure as a veterinarian without contingencies in the state where the hospital is located.Current DEA license and USDA Category I Accreditation.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to maintain a professional attitude and demeanor during emotional and stressful situations.Comfortable performing anesthesia and routine surgeries.
