Job Description:

This role is responsible for ensuring seamless communication between sales teams, internal departments, and customers. The Sales Coordinator will maintain accurate and timely technical proposals, order acknowledgments, and coordinate with engineering and operations to review RFQs and determine project risks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain price worksheets for sales executives to quote standard machines with standard options.
  • Collaborate with sales executives to coordinate technical reviews with customers, engineering, and operations.
  • Develop and maintain proposal formats for sales executives, including structure, format, and accuracy of content.
  • Follow up with sales executives on open quotes to confirm their status.
  • Maintain standard machine specifications that align with engineering's job structure.
  • Enter orders and billing plans in the ERP system and maintain specifications for all sold jobs.
  • Maintain the structure and content of the electronic document management system.
  • Coordinate and participate in customer visits.
  • Organize internal and external customer machine demos.
  • Participate in sales kick-off and risk burn-down meetings.
  • Manage projects at lower revenue levels and/or with low risks, following lean processes.
  • Act as the single point of contact between engineering, operations, and sales executives, or directly with the customer to ensure project success.
  • Maintain data integrity in the customer relationship management (CRM/CPQ) database.
  • Facilitate resolution of customer-related financial issues, billing discrepancies, past due invoices, and credit holds.
  • Provide backup for other administrative functions.
Requirements:
  • An associate degree in a technical or business-related discipline is preferred. A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Two to four years of relevant experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.

Work Environment/Physical Demands:
  • Typically sits, grasps items, and performs keyboarding for frequent operation of a computer.
  • Stand, walk, bend, reach, or otherwise move about occasionally.
  • Lift, move, or otherwise transfer items up to 30 lbs. occasionally.
  • Occasional exposure to typical machine shop physical hazards.
  • Travel by air or car occasionally.
