Work Schedule: 2nd shift; Monday - Friday 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM; weekend and holiday overtime may be required.Key Responsibilities:
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Operate equipment such as overhead cranes and scissor lifts, and utilize scaffolding and ladders as necessary.
  • Work in confined spaces and at heights up to 25 feet when required.
  • Interpret blueprints and process documentation accurately.
  • Implement 5S housekeeping standards and Lean Manufacturing methodologies.
  • Utilize the IFS timekeeping system for accurate job tracking.
  • Meet safety, quality, and production benchmarks consistently.
  • Assemble various burner components and sub-assemblies following specifications and guidelines.
  • Visualize and execute component assembly effectively.
  • Skillfully use hand tools, including drills and pneumatic tools.
  • Exhibit a positive, cooperative attitude in the workplace.
  • Foster and maintain constructive relationships with colleagues to promote a collaborative work environment.
  • Complete assigned tasks efficiently and in accordance with established policies.
  • Apply critical thinking, creativity, and adaptability to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Ensure project goals are met in a cost-effective manner.
  • Assist peers and management with both internal and external initiatives.
  • Comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Environmental and Physical Requirements:

Must be capable of lifting up to 50 lbs. to a height of 40 inches occasionally and overhead regularly. Ability to stand and walk for up to 12 hours on hard surfaces, with frequent bending, stretching, stooping, squatting, and climbing. Proficient in reading a tape measure and interpreting blueprints, safety regulations, and operational instructions. May need to work in confined spaces as narrow as 22 inches in diameter and at heights up to 25 feet. Must be able to navigate all areas of the facility, both indoors and outdoors, and may be exposed to noise, dust, dirt, welding fumes, and machine lubricants. Willingness to utilize personal protective equipment, including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed footwear, hard hats, and fall protection gear.

Physical Skills and Effort:Requires standing, bending, and lifting objects weighing up to 50 lbs. throughout the work shift. Dexterity is essential for safe operation of power and hand tools.Working Conditions and Hazards:Standard hazards associated with a metal fabrication environment. Required personal protective equipment includes safety glasses, steel-toed shoes, hard hats, and hearing protection. Additional protective gear may be necessary depending on specific tasks.Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent required.
