About Our Organization

Founded by a team of anesthesiologists, Anesthesia Practice Consultants (APC) is a privately owned, physician-operated entity dedicated to exceptional patient care. Our team consists of over 100 physicians, 80 anesthetists, and a skilled administrative staff, supported by an in-house billing department. With a vast network of over 100 locations, we ensure a balanced mix of hands-on cases and supervisory roles. Haven Spine + Pain, a recent initiative of APC, is designed to provide comprehensive pain management solutions. Located within a medical complex, Haven features two fully equipped procedure rooms with advanced technology for ultrasound and radiofrequency ablation. Our approach emphasizes multidisciplinary care and patient involvement, allowing anesthesiologists to enjoy a flexible schedule that integrates both pain management and surgical practice, thereby minimizing the risk of burnout.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluate and monitor the physiological and psychological needs of patients to develop appropriate anesthetic plans
  • Administer anesthesia during surgical procedures
  • Monitor and manage physiological changes during procedures, including vital signs
  • Oversee patient conditions post-anesthesia for any adverse reactions
  • Implement necessary interventions to maintain stability during surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure seamless care and service coordination
  • Lead and direct a team of nurses and medical technicians
  • Engage in ongoing quality improvement initiatives as needed
  • Stay informed about current trends and advancements in the field through literature and professional development opportunities
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and positive attitude with both staff and patients
  • Develop individualized, multidisciplinary pain management plans tailored to patient needs
  • Execute evidence-based pain interventions and monitor for potential adverse outcomes
  • Implement strategies for opioid reduction and manage chronic pain medication effectively
