Registered Nurse in Hospice Care

We are currently seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Hospice Division. This RN role offers flexibility and is essential to our operations.
THIS POSITION REQUIRES A 7 DAYS ON, 7 DAYS OFF SCHEDULE WITH 24/7 ON-CALL DUTIES DURING WORK DAYS

Responsibilities of the RN
- Conduct ongoing assessments of the patient's physical and psycho-social status
- Develop and implement a care plan in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Group (IDG), the patient/family, and the attending physician
- Provide education and interventions to manage the patient's pain and other physical symptoms, while assessing the patient/family's response to treatment
- Ensure availability of necessary equipment, supplies, medications, and services
- Adjust the IDG care plan as the patient's/family's needs evolve
- Document patient/family services accurately and in a timely manner
- Participate regularly in IDG meetings
Requirements for the RN
- Active, unrestricted RN license in the State of Michigan
- A minimum of one (1) year of relevant RN experience (required)
- Preferred: One (1) year of management experience
- Preferred: One (1) year of home health experience
- Current CPR Certification
- Preferred: Community health and diverse Medical-Surgical experience
- Reliable transportation with a valid state driver's license and current car insurance
