At BSA Hospital, we are seeking a skilled Ultrasound Tech to join our Diagnostic Imaging team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for operating sonography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body and performing related technical functions.
Responsibilities:- Operate sonography equipment to produce high-quality images of the body and perform related technical functions.
- Demonstrate technical skills necessary to provide outstanding image quality for abdominal and small parts, OB/Gyn, and pediatric ultrasounds.
- Exhibit knowledge and skills for providing imaging guidance during invasive procedures.
- Perform imaging in accordance with recommended safe patient practices.
- Prepare exam rooms, equipment, supplies, and medications.
- Provide safe patient care and excellent customer service to all patient populations.
- Possess excellent critical thinking skills and ability to work in a high-volume and fast-paced environment.
- Communicate effectively and professionally with patients, physicians, and intra- and inter-departmentally.
- ARRT (R) or ARDMS certification.
- CPR certification.
Preferred qualifications include two years of related experience and an Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology.
