Diagnostic Imaging Specialist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Diagnostic Imaging Specialist to join our team at Northwest Texas Healthcare System. As a Diagnostic Imaging Specialist, you will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using various modalities, including radiography, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Prepare patients for imaging procedures, explaining the process and obtaining necessary consent.
  • Position patients correctly and safely to ensure accurate and high-quality images.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses and effective patient care.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient satisfaction and clinical outcomes.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an accredited program in radiologic technology or a related field.
  • Registered or registry-eligible in radiography with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • State of Texas General Radiology License (Texas Medical Board).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to lift and move patients, as well as stand for extended periods.
