Job Title: Senior Investment Associate

Join GroupM Investment Inc as a Senior Investment Associate and play a key role in shaping the future of media investment. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for implementing media negotiations and buying/activation for assigned accounts, providing strategic market insights, and managing spending across major vendors.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with the Strategic Planning team to gain insights on objectives, KPIs, strategies, audiences, and ensure tactical buys deliver against goals.
  • Participate in the RFP process and vendor selection.
  • Implement negotiations/rate tracking/planning, costs/benchmarking/budget management, and commercial inventory allocation and make-goods for assigned account(s).
  • Manage vendor relations, including inventory avails, IOs, and notify if included/excluded from buy.
  • Assist junior staff with entering partner buys into Buy platforms, sending out IO/Contracts, and preparing campaign for launches (trafficking, setting up ad serving, etc.).
  • Ensure all buys are entered correctly into systems (naming conventions, budgets, placements, compliance, updates, etc.), and ensure campaign launches and delivery/pacing are occurring.
  • Stay current on partner and marketplace innovations, ad models, and technologies.
  • Proactively follow up on client team requests with a key awareness of client deadlines.
  • Document all negotiations, make-goods, and credits, and analyze by performance, i.e., post-buys, and positioning reports.
  • Manage monthly billing.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in advertising, marketing, business administration, and communications; OR equivalent professional work experience.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with media, technology, analytics, and GroupM teams as well as media and technology publishers.
  • Foster camaraderie within the Investment team and with all key stakeholders they support.
  • Educate media teams on the investment process.
  • Provide guidance to team members and nurture/promote team environment.
  • 1+ years of prior digital or video investment experience desired.
  • Be capable of working successfully within a team as well as independently.
  • Strong understanding of interactive research tools.
  • Strong quantitative and analytical/results-oriented skills.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel with intermediate PowerPoint and Word skills.
  • Strong understanding of interactive research and buying tools.
